How long is your face compared with how wide it is?
QUESTION 1 OF 11 · 0%
Easiest way to check: pull your hair back, face a mirror, and measure from hairline to chin, then across the cheekbones. A tape measure is ideal, but eyeballing it is usually enough.
Eleven questions. No email or sign-up required.
Noticeably longer than it is wide

The face reads long and narrow overall.
About one and a half times longer

Length is greater, but not dramatically so.
Roughly as long as it is wide

Close to equal in both directions.
I honestly can’t tell

No problem — the next questions will do the work.
THE STUDIO
The considered alternative to the volume salon.
A client booking a full extension install is not buying a haircut. She is buying several hours of being properly taken care of, and a result that has to hold up for months afterwards. That is the whole strategy, and it is why the word in the name is therapy.
Every appointment begins with a conversation about your density, your growth pattern, and the routine you actually keep — then a method is chosen that will still look right in month four.
The six face shapes
Oval, round, square, heart, diamond and rectangle. Your face shape is a starting point; your hair, routine and preferences matter too.
Oval
Length is around one and a half times the width, with the jaw slightly narrower than the cheekbones and a soft curve all the way round.
Round
Roughly as wide as it is long, with full cheeks and a soft jawline that has no hard corners.
Square
A strong, angular jaw with corners, a forehead of similar width, and a length close to the width.
Heart
A wide forehead and cheekbones narrowing to a delicate, often pointed chin.
Diamond
Cheekbones are the widest point, with a narrower forehead and a narrow, often pointed chin.
Rectangle
Noticeably longer than it is wide, with a straight jaw and forehead of similar width — sometimes called oblong.
Your result
Face shape is a starting point, not a rule.
Texture, density, growth pattern, how your hair sits at the nape, where your cowlick is, whether you part it and how much time you will realistically give it in the morning all matter at least as much as your proportions. A quiz can narrow the field. It cannot see your hair.
Bring your result to a consultation and treat it as a conversation starter. If the cut you have landed on is not right for your hair, we will talk through a direction that works for you.
